Soul Ethnicity is a instrumental band that plays various electronic instruments combined with some ethnic Chinese and Indian ones. Due to the diverse and rich background of its members, the music they produced are one that combines modern funky chillout music with ethnic influence. From deep house and chillout to pulsating deep groove and jazz, Soul Ethnicity's music will provides the perfect lull over a few cool drinks and some quiet conversation.

Since the formation of Soul Ethnicity, they have graced events like exhibitions, companies D&D, product launches, etc. Some of their most recent project were Network China, Opening of Capital Tower, Sentosa, Opening of Asia Civilzation Museum, CPF Board, Microsoft, Singapore Brand Award, Channel News Asia, OCBC Bank, Starhub, Dunhill, National Geographic Chanel, ShowReel Asia, ASEAN Telecommunication Ministerial Meeting, etc.

Eddy Elias - Groove Box/Muted Trumpet
Started playing the trumpet at the age of 7, the beautiful sound of his trumpet can be heard from albums by Jacky Cheung, Ronald Cheng, Jiang Yu Heng, Eason Chen, etc. Apart form recording, Eddy also performed at Jacaranda Jazz Festival, Pert as a band leader and performed with world renown Gospel singer, Ron Kenoly.

Colin Yong - Chinese/Western Flute
One of the most talented young musician in Singapore, Colin performs on Western flute, Chinese flute, electric bass and acoustic bass. Recently Colin just returned form a series of music festivals and performance at Chicago, Toronto, Japan, India, etc. He had also worked with world renown saxophonist, Ernie Watts, Jeremy Monteiro, Claressa Monteiro, mandarin pop star Su-Rei, Donny Ray Evin, etc.

Kamal Singh - Tabla/Djembe
At the age of 14, Kamal started playing the tabla under the guidance of Sri Dr Gurcharan Singh. In 1998, Kamal performed his first solo maiden performance at the Singapore Drama Centre and was awarded the title of "Vadyanjali". Fast, furious, fiery, subtle, melodic, lyrical, funny, energetic. Definitely one of the most colorful musicians regardless which band you put him in. Over the years, he had performed for the Singapore Earth Fest Concert, Bang Bam Boom conert by NAC, Riverdrums Festival 2000, OCBC, Asean Tele-communcation Conference, Singtel, Showreel Asia, Bvlgari, Samsung, Dunhill, etc.
